Forty-four storeys up, a Baja-inspired rooftop where sunset drinks, an infinity pool and a full skyline view do half the work — and the kitchen does the rest.
The concept
KŌST sits atop the Bisha Hotel in the Entertainment District, a rooftop restaurant and bar from hospitality group ICONINK. The brief is a quick escape to the Baja–California coastline: bright, citrus-forward cooking, agave-driven cocktails and al fresco tables beside a landmark infinity pool that reaches toward the edge of the city.
What to order
Lean coastal and Baja — tuna ceviche and hamachi crudo, guacamole with chips, chicken tinga sliders and coconut shrimp to share. For mains, grilled Atlantic salmon, whole branzino, or the long-bone BBQ short rib. Drinks are a reason many come: the Frozen Baja-Rita, Sunset Sour and Baja Splash are built for golden hour.
The Space
The setting is the draw — a 44th-floor terrace with panoramic views over King West and the lakeshore, an infinity pool as the centrepiece, and a bright, breezy Californian palette. It’s an indoor-outdoor room engineered for sunset, shifting easily from daytime lounging to a buzzy evening crowd.
Who it’s for
For sunset dates, celebrations and anyone who wants a rooftop moment with a proper kitchen behind it.
Questions and answers
Do I need to book? Yes — rooftop tables, and anything near sunset in warmer months, go quickly, so reserve ahead rather than relying on walk-in space.
Are there vegetarian choices? Yes — guacamole and chips, the watermelon and Baja Caesar salads, and vegetable-forward small plates give non-fish, non-meat diners solid options.
What should I try first? Order a ceviche, a couple of tacos and a Baja-Rita — that combination captures the coastal, agave-forward idea in one round.
Is it good for a celebration? Very — the view, pool-deck setting and cocktail list make it a natural for birthdays and special occasions; larger groups should book ahead.
When’s the best time to go? The rooftop is at its best on a warm evening as the sun drops over the lake; arrive before sunset to catch the light.
