Childhood and Early Career
Aubrey Graham was born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto. His mother was a teacher, and his father was a renowned African-American musician. When Aubrey was five years old, his parents divorced, and he primarily lived with his mother in Toronto’s Weston Road neighborhood.
